Zomrel jeden z vývojárov moderného God of War

Cory Barlog, šéf vývoja God of War z roku 2018 potvrdil, že zomrel skúsený herný vývojár George Mawle (na fotke hore úplne vľavo), ktorý v hernom biznise pracoval viac ako 20 rokov a na konte mal peknú zbierku rôznych hier. Pracoval napríklad na Prototype 1 a 2, Scarface: The World Is Yours, Crash of the Titans, Aquaman: Battle for Atlantis alebo novom God of War, pre ktorý vytvoril mechanizmus lietajúcej sekery, pracoval na zbraniach, RPG mechanizmoch, scriptoch a podľa slov kolegov aj posúval vpred celý tím. Síce už v Santa Monica niekoľko mesiacov nepracoval, ale viacerí kolegocia si naňho zaspomínali.

George was such an amazingly funny, smart and warm human being. He was one of the fathers of the Leviathan feel. Without his curiosity and intellect those moments of pure joy recalling the axe would never have existed.

Absolutely breaks my heart that he is gone.
