Golden Joystick Awards 2025 spustili hlasovanie vo viac ako 20 kategóriách, pričom tento rok pribudla aj novinka - cena za najlepší remake/remaster. Hlasovanie beží do 31. októbra, shortlist na „Ultimate Game of the Year“ bude oznámený 3. novembra a samotný galavečer sa uskutoční 20. novembra.

Najviac nominácií získalo Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, ktoré vedie s šiestimi položkami vrátane Studio roka. Hneď za ním sú Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, Ghost of Yōtei a Kingdom Come: Deliverance II so štyrmi nomináciami. Indiana Jones má tri nominácie. Z indie hier bodujú Hollow Knight: Silksong, Sword of the Sea a PEAK.
